Default Delete rows in filter view

Have a spreadsheet that contains empty cells. Want to delete all empty cells
at one time (if possible). Have filtered column to show only empty cells.
If I delete the filtered cells, all cells are deleted.

Is there anyway to quickly delete empty rows in a worksheet? My w/s is
rather large. Thanks.

Rather than filtering, sort the data based on that column so that all the
rows to delete are grouped together - and then delete
