Default Can't get Excel 2003 to open a .wav via hyperlink

Topic pretty much sums it up. I'm trying to get Excel to hyperlink a
.wav file, but when I click on the link it just gives me an hourglass
for a second and then nothing, not even an error. I can hyperlink
other files like .txt and websites with no problems, but .wav files do
not function. Anyone know why this might be? Thanks in advance.
