Default Office 2003 vs. Office 97

What are the big advantages of Office 2003 over Office 97. I am mainly
interested in Excel, Word and Access functions/advantages.

As far as Excel is concerned:
1) for new features see http://www.j-walk.com/ss/excel/xl2003.htm
2) if you use statistical functions, Excel2003 is a must
BUT why not wait for Excel 2007?
