Default Formatting of cells

All new and old spreadsheets now have a bug. Any typed number (say 5) comes
out as .05 every time. help! Normal change of format using Format / Cell/
Number does not work!

Default Formatting of cells

Menu ToolsOptions and go to the Edit tab.

See if the Fixed Decimal box is checked, if so uncheck it.
