Oh sorry about that,
For this example column G would be an amount, all the other numbers would match but if column G doesn't match, is there another row that has the same criteria but more. Basically, is there another pile I can grab from that meets all the other criteria, Also, would need to return a stock number from another column. I have this in VBA, but it only works for one search, I need this to work six times, so I am looking for a formula that I can copy to another column but use the stock list. What is happenning is this, A new order gets written up that can involve up to six items, as the specs are being inputted there will be a search to see if we have an item in the yard. if there is a match or if there is another item that we can cut off from,(example: we need 12 feet at these specs all we have is 13ft, we can cut a foot off the 13) A message will show up on the production papers, telling the forman to check the yard for this item before manufacturing it. andy |
