Default Data Sort

I have an excel data base with 800 rows of data. Some of
the row heights are different because of the data entered
in some fields.
There are 10 colums headings.
I would like to sort the data based on the column headings.
I get the following message:
"The operations requires the merged cells to be identically
sized"
I do not understand what is the problem?

Hight should not be the issue here. Sounds like somewhere in the database
two cells are merged.
Either of 2 diffrent columns or 2 different rows.

Most of the times merged cells are somewhere in headings or last rows, but
you coudl be unlucky here.

Trick to find in case 2 columns have a merged cell somewhere
- select the first heading.
- press CTRL and Space at the same time. If only 1 column is selected, there
are no merged cells between te columns. If two or more colums get selected,
you found you're merged column
- when you found it, you can use CTRL + pointer down (hold CTRL ) to find
the row which has the merged cells.

Hope this helps,

JP
