Can anyone tell me how to do a lookup of a fiscal year with a given date?

Default EXCEL LOOKUP FISCAL YEAR WITH DATE


It depends when your fiscal year begins. If the 2006 fiscal year began
on June 1st 2005 then your fiscal year is effectively running 7 months
ahead of the actual year so

=YEAR(A1)+(MONTH(A1)5)

will give your the fiscal year when A1 contains your date, e.g.
9/9/2005 gives 2006
