EXCEL LOOKUP FISCAL YEAR WITH DATE
It depends when your fiscal year begins. If the 2006 fiscal year began on June 1st 2005 then your fiscal year is effectively running 7 months ahead of the actual year so =YEAR(A1)+(MONTH(A1)5) will give your the fiscal year when A1 contains your date, e.g. 9/9/2005 gives 2006 -- daddylonglegs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ daddylonglegs's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30486 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=508590 |
