Default How do I disable links on the page?

I have a problem where the user enters an email address and it automatically
becomes a link. Even the font size / color changes by itself.

Is there a way to disable this?

Hi
depending on your Excel version goto 'Tools - autocorrection' and
disable this feature on the second tab
