drop-down lists print on a separate page in excel
I have created drop-down lists in an Excel spreadsheet. When I do the print
preview, there are extra sheets that seem to hold the drop-down formatting. I heard I can do something on an invisible page that will store the drop-down lists and not print. Is this true? Is there a way to do this? |

Use named ranges for your validation lists. See:
http://www.officearticles.com/excel/...soft_excel.htm You can put them on any sheet you like. Then, you can even Format--Sheet (when you're all done) and hide the sheet. ************ Hope it helps! If you want to print only part of your worksheet, you can set a Print Area:
Select the cells that you want to print From the File menu, choose Print Area Set Print Area If you want the lists on an invisible page, use a named range as the source, as described he http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal01.html To hide the sheet that contains the lists: Select the sheet that you want to hide From the Format menu, choose Sheet Hide Kayh2 wrote: I have created drop-down lists in an Excel spreadsheet.
