Default search data set, then put in all info base on one critera

i have a data set that is two columns ten deep. abc (text) on left and 123
(Numeric) on right. how do i have a drop box (list) any where on the
worksheet, that contains abc info ( i know how to do this with validation or
list commands). then when one of the items from the abc (text) list is
clicked on corresponding data in 123 column is also add to cell right of the
drop box.
