Populate what?

Your subject line is truncated.

If you want anything other than a guess, post back with some description in the
body of your message.

This is my guess.

On Sheet2 in a cell enter =Sheet1!A1

Whatever you enter in Sheet1 A1 will be entered in Sheet2 in the cell with the
formula.
