Default Comments in Excel saved to HTML

Created a workbook that I saved to HTML. The comments that were created for
certain cells now show up with the comment indicator changed to a numbered
hyperlink instead of the traditional red triangle. the comments appear when
the mouse is moved over the number ( [1] ) but the number appears over the
text of the cell. Weird.... Any ideas?
