Default auto filter not working on all data

I have used autofilter for a long time and have not encountered this before.
5000 rows of data - autofilter has been working normally for months.
Yesterday a filter stopped at row 4307, nothing below is filtered. All
columns are affected. There are no blank rows, I reformatted the text to
match above rows and nothing has helped. Suggestions?

Turn off the AutoFilter, select the entire table, then turn on the
AutoFilter.

Thank you.

I tried that. The problem was that column A (which was hidden) did not have
data in it past a certain point. Once I added info to this column the filter
recognized the entire table.
