Default Color Excel Spreasheet print previews in black/white. Reason?

I have formatted a worksheet with background color. It appears on the
spreadsheet in color. When I go to print preview, it appears in all
black/white. What is causing this?

Go to Page Setup and check the sheet tab. Make sure no check boxes are
checked in the Print area.
