Default How can I add a fixed value to all cells in a table?

I simply want to update a table full of values by adding a certain number to
all cells. How can I do this easiest?

Enter the number in an empty cell (just to be sure, format the cell as
Number FIRST)
EditCopy
Select the cells to be updated
EditPaste special, check Add
