Default Need formatting help

I know SQUAT about Excel, but here is what I need help on. Here at
work, we are inputting scanned serial numbers from 2 scanners into
Excel. This has been accomplished. HOWEVER, the scanned items just
keep overwritting the old number. As a new number is scanned in, all I
want to do is to put it 1 column below the last one. Is there a simple
formula for this?
Thanks

How exactly, are you inputting the numbers?

If you are typing them into the worksheet directly, all you need to do is hit
the down arrow after each entry.

If there is code being used, you'll need to post the code.
