Does such a function exist ?
I have 2 cells containing a number, A1 (1) and B1 (10) What i want is that it makes a sum of all the numbers from 1 to 10. 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 equals 55 and this is the result in C1 I'm not sure how to call this function, but i found something simular on wikipedia: Code: -------------------- If a sum has too many terms to write them all out individually, the sum may be written with an ellipsis to mark out the missing terms. Thus, the sum of all the natural numbers from 1 to 100 is 1 + 2 + … + 99 + 100 = 5050. Sums can be represented by the summation symbol, a capital Sigma. =SUM(ROW(INDIRECT("d"&A1&":d"&B1)))
