Reduce the number of formats in your workbook.
Some info: XL: Error Message: Too Many Different Cell Formats http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=213904 If the file gets too bad, excel may not even open it. If that happens, then a few people have posted that they could open the file in OpenOffice, then remove some of the formatting, save it and then excel would open that file ok. http://www.openoffice.org, a 60-65 meg download or a CD bebz wrote: I have moved a sheet to another workbook, and now every time I want to do any formating it gives me an error "Too many different cell formats" ? Whan can I do to get rid of this? -- Dave Peterson |
