Don't use merged cells.
In fact, I would think that the best way to handle it is to develop your workbooks in the oldest version of excel that will be used. Then you'll know for sure that you didn't use something that isn't available to all. jimmylightning wrote: When I create a worksheet, and use merge cells, then send it someone who opens it in a previous version of Excel, the merge cells is lost.
