Default Scedule or Timeline

I am trying to create a schedule for a year of classes. There are three locations to track. There are two formats for the classes: Format1 (F1) is every other week for 18 weeks total. Format2 (F2) is every week for 20 weeks.

I have tried some timeline templates, but it does not allow for the week-off between the classes in format1. I need to be able to schedule the instructor in another class on the weeks off between.

MIA-F1
MIA-F1 (in the off week of the class above)

I was planing to list every week for the year in one worksheet, and see a clear schedule in another. Of course I would like to take advantage of colors for class type. Anyone have an idea how to do this?
