Default Add time when working 3rd shift

Help
Can someone pelase tell me a formula that can give me 2 difrent total hours worked for a 3rd shift employee...Here is what I export from another source.
This is what an example looks like "Oct 22, 2012 10:30:00 PM Oct 23, 2012 9:00:00 AM"
I want one formula to calculate (add time worked) from10:30pm - 12:00am for oct 22 and another formula to calulate the rest of the time wich in this case is 12:00am - 9am of Oct 23rd
So 2 difrent formulas 2 difrent rows is fine

Thank you
