Vlookup Calculation Issue
I have a colleague who is using several vlookup formulas to pull information for a number of other detail files into a central summary file. He has found that the results of the formulas is inconsisent and unreliable. Sometimes only the first half of the data pulls in properly and then the rest is either #N/A or a figure, but does not match the data in the original file. I know that this post doesn't provide a great deal of detail, but I was hoping someone else may have encountered the same general issue when working with the vlookup function between multiple files. I am hoping to work with the file for the first time tomorrow, so may have more details.
