I am trying to sort time values using a list. The time values in the cells
are calculated by a formula and not manually entered in. When I try and sort them assending using a list it doesn't even come close to sorting correctly. How do you sort using a list when the values are calculated by formulas? Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Brian |

The times generated change all the time. I'm not sure I understand what you
mean. Would you mind explaining how to do this? Thanks for the reply and any further help would be greatly appreciated. Hi Brian,
I am not sure what you mean by times changing all the time but this is what I had in mind. Once the formula calculates you would then convert the results to a value and still retain the formula. Asume your formula is in C2:C10. Highlight C2:C10 EditCopy move to D2 EditPaste SpecialValues. This has done the changed the formula to a result(value). You may now sort on column D HTH "brianwakin" wrote: The times generated change all the time. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Would you mind explaining how to do this? Is there a formula/function that accomplishes the same task? Thanks.
