Does anyone know if you can adjust Format Rows Autofit to ensure WYSIWYG when
printing. I am continually frustrated that when I print after using the
autofit function that I get text cut in half and underlines missing. Autofit
does not seem to work properly. Can it be set to slightly overcompensate
perhaps?

The problems you describe crop up for me when I am using a font other than
the standard font or Normal font.

Go to Tools-Options-General to see what your standard font is. This
controls the font that is Normal for all new workbooks.

For your existing workbook, go to Format-Styles-Normal and see what the
Normal font is.

I believe most of the printing metrics, i.e., row height & column width, are
driven by the Normal font and, you might try either setting the Normal font
to what you are using in the spreadsheet or changing the font in the
spreadsheet to the Normal font.

Many thanks Duke. I tried what you suggested on my home PC but I really need
to test it out at work. It does not seem to work at the moment although it
maybe because I am using different printer at home. Great pointers though.
I was not aware of either of the possible solutions you put forward. many
