Default multiple cell editing

Hello, Can I edit multiple cell's data all at same time?

What I have now:
A B C
1 ABC1 ABC8 ABC3
2 ABC7 ABC9 ABC2
3 ABC4 ABC6 ABC5

As you can see, all the cell's data starts with 'ABC' then various numbers.
I want to be able to change every 'ABC' to 'ABZ' without disturbing the
numbers that are already in the cell. Right now for me to do this, I have to
click on each cell and manually change ABC to ABZ. Can I do this somehow by
being able to select cells from A1 to C3 and change only the 'C' and make it
a 'Z' in all cells at the same time without disturbing the number that follow
and the result looking like example below?

A B C
1 ABZ1 ABZ8 ABC3
2 ABZ7 ABZ9 ABZ2
3 ABZ4 ABZ6 ABZ5

I use excel 97

Thank you in advance for any advice someone may give.

Hi George

One way would be to use Search and Replace
On your sheet, type Ctrl + h
In the white pane marked Find enter C
In the pane marked Replace type Z
Click replace all.

It might be better using "Find - ABC" and "Replace - ABZ" as there might be
other cells with "C" in that the OP doesn't want to replace with "Z"!
