How do I make the page numbers like 1 of 30 run consecutively

If all 30 pages are in the same sheet, follow these instructions for that
sheet only. If they are split into two or more sheets, you must first group the affected sheets. Click on the first one, then Ctrl-click on the second, third, etc. Go to Page Setup, Header and Footer tab. Click on either Header or Footer, depending on where you want the page numbers. Click in one of the boxes (left, center, or right), and a toolbar will appear. You can enter just a page number, or a string such as "1 of 30," "2 of 30," etc. For page number only, just click the # icon. For "1 of..." etc., click the # icon, type space, of, space, and click the +++ icon. Click OK out of the menu and go to page preview to determine whether it shows what you want. When printing, if the page numbers are in more than one sheet, all sheets must be selected. Otherwise the page numbers will start from 1 in each separate sheet. "ksm1510" wrote in message ...
