Default Page Numbering between tabs

I am trying to firgure out how I can get the page numbers
to be continuous across tabs.

An example tab 1 has 3 pages, I want the ifrst page on
tab 2 to have a number of 4. I know how to do this
manually using the page setup, but I am looking for an
automated approach.

As an aside, I have different formatting for each of the
tabs.

Hi Jeff

there's a report manager add-in that provides this functionality for you -
if you've got version 97/2000 have a look under tools / add-ins .. for ver
2002 & 2003 you'll have to download it off the MS site and follow the
instructions for installing it.

this web page should get you started
