I am trying to take a net sales number and break it down by % amounts in a
stepped manner. For example: $2500.00 in sales. The first $1000 or less would be paid at 45% ($450.00) The next $500 greater than $1000 but less than $1501 would be paid at 50% ( $250.00) Any amount less than $9999.99 but greater than $1500 would be paid at 60% ( $600.00) Total Commission Paid in this scenario: $1,300.00 How would I write this formula out? It's been 10 years since my last course and I do not use excel like I use to. Help? |
