Default Alert on my Desktop or outlook from Excel worksheet on due dates

Hi,

With minimal knowledge on excel. I have a requirement that my excel sheet should alert me about the due dates on my outlook as and when the excel sheet is opened. Generally I am preparing patent life cycle which have several due dates in its life cycle. Its not easy for me to remember all the due dates so I want to get automatic alert on my desktop or outlook or if possible on mobile phone on due dates one month ahead of due date.
