Hi,
Can you please help me to apply a formula in excel where I can find a future value of an investment "X" years from today, according to the following example: Present Value: $4,000.00 Interest: 8% Period: 20 years I do not want periodic payments, only the full amount after 20 years. Thank you in advance, Juan Solis |

I think you can just select the FV formula from the function button and fill
in .08 for the rate, 0 for PMT, 4000 for PV and 20 for the NPER. It comes out to about $18,600 "Juan Solis" wrote: Hi, Can you please help me to apply a formula in excel where I can find a future value of an investment "X" years from today, according to the following example: Present Value: $4,000.00 Interest: 8% Period: 20 years I do not want periodic payments, only the full amount after 20 years. Just use =FV(0.08,20,0,4000,1) It should come to about $18643.83.
