I saw some functions starting with{ and ending with }
What is used for? Can you give me some hints for using that things?

The curly braces {} indicate that the formula is an array
formula. You don't type the braces in; instead, you enter the
formula by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER rather than just ENTER. See
www.cpearson.com/excel/array.htm for more information about array
formulas.
