I'm calculating lots of percentages. I enter the numerator and the
demoninator and multiply that by 100. When I return to that cell, it shows the division results *100. This means I can't check to make sure I entered the right numbers. How can I get it to leave the formula as entered in the formula bar? |

Peter,
This is simple. Please use one column for entering Numerators, second column for Denominators and arrive at the % in the third column. Thanks, Manish Bajpai "Peter R." wrote: I'm calculating lots of percentages. I enter the numerator and the demoninator and multiply that by 100. How are you making your entries?
For me, these are an *invariable* display in the formula bar: =1/2*100 =3/8*100 =15/16*100 Am I missing something? -- Regards, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Peter R." <Peter wrote in message ...
