Counting Letters
Hello,
I am having trouble counting a list of initials. What I have is a list of inspector's initials and I want to count how many times they inspected. I can't figure out how to make excel count anything but numbers. Here's a shortened version of my list LD LD LD RS RS AG AG RS AG It goes on for about 3,500. If anyone can help me, that'd be great! Thanks |

Use the countif function

Put all of your inspectors Id in a list say H1:H10, then in I1 add
