follow with the rest of the pattern and repeat the same patern to as many
cell I want.

Put the series in a Custom List (Tools/Options/Custom List). Enter D in
a cell. Drag across or down.

Maybe I do not understand you correctly, but this is one way I read you:

In cell A1 you type D
In cell A2 you type D
In cell A3 you type N
In cell A4 you type N
In cell A5 you type O
In cell A6 you type O
In cell A7 you type O
In cell A8 you type R

To copy this pattern to other cells, you select cells A1 to A8, put your
cursor on the little black square at the bottom right corner of the
selection (where it changes to a cross) and drag your cursor down or to the
right.
The pattern will then be repeated.
