Default pivot table

I have a pivot table for financial report,

e.g. Sales xxx
COS xx
Expenses xx
Grant Total x
How can I add a subtotal "Gross Margin" (Sales less COS) without insert more
level in the table?

I tried to add calculated field but it work in column not in row.

See if this works for you:

Select the Sales and COS fields
Right-click on them and select "Group and Show Detail"
---Select "Group"

Right-click the new group and select "Field Settings"
---Select Sum

You can rename Group1 to Gross Margin by just selecting the label and typing
the new label.

Is that something you can work with?
