Default blank cells in calculations

I am attempting to calculate returns for approximately 250 investment
accounts that have been around for different lengths of time. I am copying
the same XIRR formula accrossed all 250 accounts. The problem is that the
blank cells are counted as zero's - is there any way to not count the blank
cells as zero's?
