Default Help with setting up a statistical report?

Hi all,

Can anyone help me with this please? I am currently working using a
spreadsheet with multiple worksheets for different locations which contain
all their details.

Column A Column B Column C Column D
123abc Stn Car 15/07/2005
456def Fxt Lorry 14/07/2005
789ghi Fxt Car 12/05/2005

I want to be able to produce a report in a new worksheet so that I can
select which worksheet I want the data from, then select the totals for say
all the cars from column C that are from Fxt within a selected date range. Is
it possible to create a report that gives me the option of using a drop down
menus to choose the worksheet, then the Cars, then the port. Once I've done
that input the date ranges and it will tell me exactly how many Cars from Fxt
went to Worksheet 4 (the destination) within my date range?

Sorry if this is a load of jibberish, I hope you can decypher it all. thanks
for your help

Dan
