Pivot Table
I am trying to do a pivot table using data from 2 worksheets/tabs in a
spreadsheet. I am using Excel 2000 I have about 75000 lines of data which I have split onto two worksheets/tabs. The column headings are identical in both worksheets/tabs. I tried a range of sheet1!$A$1..$G$40000;sheet2!A$1..$G$35000 but I get "reference is not valid" |

You can create a Pivot Table from multiple consolidation ranges, but you
won't get the same pivot table layout that you'd get from a single range. There's an example he http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot08.html If possible, store your data in a single worksheet, or in a database, and you'll have more flexibility in creating the pivot table.
