By formatting the cell containing the formula as text you have made Excel
think the formula is just a bunch of characters. Try formating the cell
containing the formula as general.

Hi,
I input =CONCATENATE(E51,E52,E53) in cell E50 and it appears as text as
entered. Why will it not return a value? I have all cells formatted as text.
