functions do not calculate
Hi,
I input =CONCATENATE(E51,E52,E53) in cell E50 and it appears as text as entered. Why will it not return a value? I have all cells formatted as text. |
Try the following...
1) format the cell as 'General' 2) click in the 'Formula Bar' and press 'Enter' or re-enter the formula Hope this helps! By formatting the cell containing the formula as text you have made Excel
think the formula is just a bunch of characters. Try formating the cell containing the formula as general. -- Gary's Student "Jeff" wrote: Hi, I input =CONCATENATE(E51,E52,E53) in cell E50 and it appears as text as entered. Why will it not return a value? I have all cells formatted as text. |
