Default check a checkbox in a formula

Hi everyone,

I need to check a checkbox in a formula - something like this:

=if(mycheckbox, "Yes", "No")

I'm using the ActiveX style checkbox - ie the one from the Control Toolbox.

Any ideas?

TIA
