Can a vlookup value be more than one cell?
I am trying to compare two cells in a sheet to a table in another sheet in
order to obtain a value. Is this possible? In particular I am trying to lookup a works order no. and a stage no. in order to obtain a dept name. A works order can have more than one stage no. |

I've done this by concatenating the two values that you want to compare.

It sounds painful but I believe that is how I just solved it as well; by
combining the two numbers with an * between them. Thanks for your quick response. Ed "Barb R." wrote: I've done this by concatenating the two values that you want to compare.
