Default SUMIF??

Hello,

I am working with excel 2003 on WindowsXP.

Column A contains user names, often duplicated. Column D contains the
time that user was working on a project eg HH:MM:SS.

What formula can I create in column F that looks at the names in
Column A and adds up the amount of time they have spent on a project.

EG if John Smith appears 12 times in Column A , then column F will
show the cumulative time he has been working along with his name.

Thanks in advance for your help.
