Default total sum in a table of different cells

Hello,
I've been trying to get the following formula:

Get the total of ALL Misc (K16, K17, K27, K37) of the table H3-U59 and put the total in (Cell F50).

I added a picture for easier understanding. Ive been trying with VLookup, sumif..

Thanks for any help in advance
Nan

PS : the ( ) means its a negative amount

Dear Nanito, Good Afternoon.

Please, save your worksheet at a free site, ex.: www.4shared.com, and put the link here.

The image that you provided is so small and I coulīd not see exatly what you need.

I believe that your question can be solved by the use of SUMPRODUCT Function, but itīs necessary to see your worksheet.

Iīm wainting your answer

Dear Nan, Good Afternoon.

Use this:

F50 -- =SUMPRODUCT((J5:J58="Misc.")*(K5:K58))

Tell me if it worked for you.
Fell free to ask me anything about it.

Happy New Year to you.
