Default How to remove a bunch of zero's

Can anyone help me with a function that I could apply to my spreadsheet? I
have 10 columns and hundreds of rows coming over from another application and
now that we are in Excel 2007 the $$'s are coming thru with a bunch of
zero's. Here's what it looks like
4770:00000000000000

Highlight sheet, ctrl+H
Find what : put
:00000000000000

Replace with:do nothing

Ok

Go to excell options the advanced and unclick show zeros

What should: 4770:00000000000000 display as??

Go to excell options the advanced and unclick show zeros

That wont do anything!

Go to excell options the advanced and unclick show zeros

Default How to remove a bunch of zero's

4770:00000000000000 is text NOT a dollar value. Select your Column and
Replace : with . and then format the cells how you want them.
