Could be that calculation is being set to manual by the first file to open.
-- Don Guillett Microsoft MVP Excel SalesAid Software "Bunecke" wrote in message ... I have a complex workbook (Excel 2003) that has been in use for over a year. Most users can use the workbook just fine. However, recently, I have had two separate individuals who claim the drop downs won't open the menu when they click the arrow, nor will the functions calculate when they type in the information. Both users are using Excel 2003 with Windos XP. There is a simpler calculation workbook that works fine on their computers. I have sent them a new workbook, walked through the steps with them, but I am stumped. Is there a setting within Excel that might be preventing the dropdowns / functions from working? |
