how do i change #(1-365) to the corresponding date in excel?

It depends on what result you want. If the number is 1, what date do you
want? 1/1/2010?

With your number in a1, try the following:
=date(2010,1,a1)

If that doesn't do what you want, post back with what you want to achieve.
