I have a spreadsheet that does some data analysis of an external dBase IV
table (GoldMine CRM). When I want to edit the query or it takes over 1 minute to bring up the edit query wizard. I have tried having the table on my local drive, disabling my antivirus, tried on different PCs with different versions of Office, but this does not make any difference. The table is not that big at this stage (about 500 records & about 500 kb in size). Also saving the query takes over a minute aswell. Also when I want to expand the table in the query to display the fields, this too takes over a minute. Refreshing the data in Excel is no problem & only takes a couple of seconds. Why is this?
