Default using index cards

When using excel 2007 I am trying to use 3x5 index cards.
I have the settings on Index Card 3x5
Page Layout
Viewing 4 at once on screen
This shows perfectly in excel until I go to the second card. When I try to
input or copy and paste formats, then all the cards come together as one.
I cannot seem to keep them separated on-screen. This really messes with my
formatting.
How can I keep the index cards separate on screen as different pages?
